First Try: Coco Puffs Banana Pudding

If you’ve never had banana pudding, you’ve been missing out. It’s one of those secretly delicious foods you don’t expect to be really good, but it’s actually amazing. On top of that, this banana pudding is made by Worth Takeaway, a small hidden gem in Downtown Mesa, AZ that serves a mean chicken sandwich. Besides sandwiches, sodas, and homemade chips, they have a specialty banana pudding that they serve every weekend. For this weekend I tried the Coco Puffs Banana Pudding and, boy, was it as good as you would expect.

My childhood nostalgia was ecstatic about the coco puffs part. Anyone else love the Coco Puffs cereal as a kid? That or Captain Crunch, who’s with me? Anyway, the banana pudding was amazing! It tastes like a delicious dessert, but it also felt slightly healthy because it’s banana pudding (but that might be my mind trying to justify it). It is 100% worth a taste (get it, worth, like Worth Takeaway – the name makes complete sense once you try it).

Yes I wore that shirt just for going to eat this banana pudding!

Sadly this flavor isn’t available anymore, but they have new flavors every weekend and they serve traditional banana pudding everyday! You can follow them on social media (@worthtakeaway) to see what that is! That also post a lot of delicious food porn on there so definitely worth a follow. I plan to have a complete post just about Worth Takeaway coming soon. I love it that much! For now, go check it out and let me know what you think of the banana pudding. You will not be disappointed 🙂
